Professional Associations

Help the Hospices hosts the Network of Professional Associations (NPA) which aims to bring together representatives from Professional Associations and special interest groups whose members work within, or adjacent to, hospice and palliative care.

By providing services to support their development, we seek to develop cooperation and joint working between Professional Associations and special interest groups. This should benefit their members and have a positive impact on patient care.

About the Associations

The average membership of each Association is nearly 200. Each one has a national focus, but with a regional structure to enable its members to meet and interact effectively.

The Associations include a wide range of people, ranging from social workers to nurse managers and from fundraisers to chairmen.
