Nursing

Although you may be in close contact with District Nurses and other nursing professionals, you may still have to undertake some of the day-to-day nursing of the person you care for.

Physical care

There are many aspects to the physical care you may get involved in, including

You may want to know more information if the person you are caring for is taking morphine or if you have to give medication using a syringe driver.

 

End of life care

You may find it helpful to understand what can happen to someone at the end of life and how you can help with caring at this time.
