75 percent of our trustees of Help the Hospices have been elected from within and by member hospices, with the remaining 25 percent being co-opted.

Founder and president
Our president is Anne, Duchess of Norfolk CBE, who founded Help the Hospices in 1984.

The chairman of our Board of Trustees is The Rt. Hon. Lord Howard of Lympne, CH, QC, the deputy chair is Peter Holliday, chief executive, St Giles Hospice and our treasurer is Sally Taylor, chief executive of St Luke’s Hospice, Plymouth.
