Best care for all
Strategic priorities
Best care for all
Did you know...
Half of all countries do not have access to hospice and palliative care
.
Striving for the best care for all
We will:
Help hospices to make sure their services are available to as many people as need them – regardless of their age or circumstances.
Increase our levels of advice and support to hospices on clinical and practice development issues.
Support hospices in making sure their services are of the highest quality and standards.
Work with hospices to support the care of dying people in other places and settings, such as nursing homes.
Help hospices to support the needs of families and friends both before and after someone dies.
Support and – where possible – fund projects initiating new services and developments in hospice and palliative care.
Develop our links with the academic world to undertake research that helps improve the delivery of hospice and palliative care.
Collaborate with other national organisations supporting the delivery of hospice and palliative care in the UK and throughout the world.
