The People and Help the Hospices - making every day count

The People newspaper's first ever charity of the year is Help the Hospices, the charity for hospice care. The People and its magazine supplement Take it Easy will raise money and awareness for hospice care throughout 2012.

Why get involved?

Half of The People’s readers are likely to know someone who has been cared for by a hospice.

Help the Hospices gives local hospices a voice, championing and supporting hospice care so that more seriously ill people and their families can make each day together count.

With The People’s support, Help the Hospices will continue to work with more than 200 hospices to make sure that hospice care is there for everyone who needs it – including children, young people, adults and their families, carers and friends.
