What we did together
The partnership has included national and local campaigns. Twenty-two KPMG offices in the UK have been twinned with hospices in their area for local fundraising and volunteering activities.
"KPMG staff are very keen to support hospice care and we're confident of reaching our goal. This is a great opportunity for our people to get involved in something valuable that has an immediate and tangible impact on their community."
Mike Kelly, director of corporate social responsibility at KPMG
KPMG employees have been incredibly busy raising funds for hospice care. Recent activities have included a 'Go Yellow' fundraising day and fundraising at several conferences.
Volunteers have participated in the Paris to London bike ride and Flora London Marathon.
Help the Hospices and KPMG win Third Sector Award
Help the Hospices and KPMG were joint winners of the Corporate Partnership category at the Third Sector Excellence Awards.
The award is made to those who imaginatively demonstrate how professional skills can be used to meet the needs of beneficiaries.
Help the Hospices partnership with KPMG incorporated activities such as volunteering to decorate hospices, payroll giving and a fundraising challenge in Sri Lanka.
The partnership has gone much further than just fundraising: KPMG staff have used their skills to provide environmental audits and free VAT advice for hospices.
