Help the Hospices is proud to have been Royal Mail Group's first major supported charity. Our three year partnership finished in March 2008.

What we did together

With a large employee base and an unrivalled UK-wide network, the partnership created fundraising and volunteering opportunities for over 220 hospices in the UK by twinning each Royal Mail Group site with its local hospice.

What Royal Mail staff have done

Royal Mail Group has raised more than £2 million for the hospice movement in the UK.

 

This tremendous sum has largely been raised through:

  • staff fundraising activities

  • Payroll Giving

  • prize draws

  • cause-related marketing campaigns

  • customer collections

  • counter appeals in Post Office Limited branches.
