Staff fundraising
Branches fundraised through
collection tins, cake sales, raffles and much more. Staff also
participated in challenges including:

to Paris

running the London Marathon.
Tour de Jewson
A number of staff, customers and suppliers from Jewson rallied together and completed the Tour de Jewson - a mammoth bike ride from Lands End to John O’ Groats covering a total of 1,801 miles in 11 days. The team completed the course as a relay and raised £20,000, visiting 68 branches and several local hospices along the way.
Trade accounts
The company set up trade accounts for hospices, leading to substantial savings on building materials.
Raising awareness
The company has given Help the Hospices many opportunities to raise awareness of the hospice cause at supplier conferences and external events. This has been a brilliant platform to talk about hospice care and engage with Saint-Gobain employees.
