Help the Hospices is Morrisons Charity of the Year

Help the Hospices is delighted to announce that it is Morrisons new Charity of Year for 2010 / 2011.

The aim of the partnership is to raise £1 million for hospice care – making a real difference to the lives of children and adults with life-limiting and terminal illnesses and their family and friends.

 

With more than 400 stores, Morrisons is the UK’s fourth largest food retailer. Every Morrisons store is twinned with their nearest hospice to raise money that will go directly to fund hospice services in the local community. 

 

To get the 10 month partnership off to a bright start, Morrisons stores across the UK will be ‘Going Yellow’ through a range of fun and exciting yellow themed fundraising activities for colleagues and customers.

 

Morrisons stores are also selling England World Cup pin badges in aid of Help the Hospices. Available in England stores next week and just £1 each, they are the perfect buy to kick off the 2010 World Cup!
