New partnerships launched for 2010

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Group has chosen to work with Help the Hospices and a group of other charities on a new and innovative partnership. Help the Hospices has worked with RBS to pull together 6 team fundraising and volunteering challenges that employees across the country can take part in to support their local hospice. This will form part of the RBS Employee and Community Engagement strategy.

Help the Hospices has been chosen as TT electronics' charity of the year for 2010-2011. This is the first time TT electronics have worked with a charity on a national basis so we are delighted they have chosen to support the hospice movement.

We are also pleased to announce that we are GAP Group Plant & Tool Hire's new charity partner. The two year partnership with GAP Group began in April 2010 and will run until April 2012. We will be kicking off the partnership with World Cup fundraising activities in June.

The supermarket Morrisons has chosen Help the Hospices as its Charity of the Year. The partnership, which was launched on 19 May in Morrisons stores across the UK, aims to raise £1 million for hospice care.

Morrisons stores are selling England World Cup pin badges in aid of Help the Hospices. Available in England stores next week and just £1 each, they are the perfect buy to kick off the 2010 World Cup. Look out for bucket collections and other fundraising campaigns taking place in your local Morrisons store.

Help the Hospices is  delighted  to announce that Carlsberg UK have decided to extend their partnership with us for a further two years. Carlsberg UK have provided fantastic support throughout the partnership so far and we are very excited to be continuing our work with them. Carlsberg UK have raised  over  £50,000  to date and were the main supporters of the Help the Hospices 25th Anniversary Ball which was held at Banqueting House in September 2009 and raised a fantastic £ 60,000.

We would like to thank our new partners and we look forward to a fun and successful year!
