Selecting Help the Hospices means you are opting to raise funds for the national charity of the hospice movement should you secure a charity place in the event. 
Selecting a particular local hospice means you are notifying that specific hospice that you want to raise funds purely for them. Please note that in many cases, your favoured hospice will not have access to places in the event you are applying for - you may re-apply for a Help the Hospices place instead in this case.
