HBOS Training & Development Grants
The purpose of these grants was to contribute towards the cost of paid staff and volunteers in UK hospices attending bereavement courses, conferences and workshops.
Grants are available to all types of hospices throughout the UK, and can be applied for through our Professional Development Grant programme.

This three year programme of activities has been made possible by funding from the 2004 HBOS Foundation Million £ Challenge for Help the Hospices - voted for by HBOS' 60,000 colleagues to be the beneficiary of its 2004 Challenge.
Through this programme, we have been successfully supporting 'the counselling, care and support of 12,500 bereaved families and individuals and more specifically families of hospice patients.' Further information and updates about the activities being undertaken will be posted on the Bereavement Section of this website.
