The 2008 grant round is now closed. We received a total of 53 applications, requesting in excess of £429,000. We were able to award 7 grants, which fully allocated the £54,600 budget available.

What is the Towergate Innovations in Income Generation Grants Programme?
The aim of this programme is to encourage creative and innovative income generation initiatives that have not been undertaken before. This might be a totally new project or an adaptation or development of an existing income generation activity. Hospices could apply for a project that is similar to that undertaken by other hospices, but such an application would need to show some elements of innovation. Additionally, it is hoped that this programme will encourage senior staff/trustees within hospices to recognise the value of investing in income generation.
This grant programme has been made possible by Towergate, who have been working with and supporting hospices through Towergate MIA for over 20 years.
