The programme is administered on a 'fast-track' basis; we aim to make a decision on an application within one month of receiving it.
|
|
Professional Development Grants help to support the cost of individuals' continuing professional development.
Staff in independent voluntary hospices are eligible for funding towards attending accredited courses (at certificate,
diploma and degree level), conferences, and study days across a wide range of disciplines.
Funding for staff in NHS units, other hospices or in nursing homes is exclusively for training in palliative care.
A maximum of 50% of the fees (up to £750 pa) may be awarded to individuals whose applications must be endorsed by their employer.
Courses with fees less than £200 are not eligible for funding.
Volunteers must apply through Vounteer Training & Development Grants .
