The commissioners

The Help the Hospices Commission into the Future of Hospice Care is chaired by Dame Clare Tickell, chief executive of Action for Children. Its vice chair is Dame Barbara Monroe, chief executive of St Christopher’s Hospice.

The commission is serviced by Heather Richardson, National Clinical Lead and Steve Dewar, Consultant working for Help the Hospices. It is accountable to the Strategy and Innovation Committee of Help the Hospices, a sub-committee of its board.
