Accredited courses

Help the Hospices courses have been recognised and awarded credits from universities. Many have been awarded credits towards a Masters degree and so they include learning based in palliative and hospice care of a very high level (Masters level 4). They may also help you to register for a national qualification. 

Who these courses are for

Our programmes are designed for professionals who have prior education and experience of sufficient depth to get entry according to the regulations governing higher education. These programmes offer excellent opportunities for career progression.

 

Our courses

Diploma and Postgraduate Certificate in Childhood Bereavement

Help the Hospices is working with St Christopher's Hospice to deliver the UK's first standalone, university-validated courses in childhood bereavement. The teaching is led by staff from the Candle Project which provides bereavement support to children and families in SE London.

Masters in Hospice Leadership

Help the Hospices has partnered with Lancaster University Management School and the International Observatory on End of Life Care to offer an exciting and innovative postgraduate qualification: a Masters in Hospice Leadership.

Previously run courses

Postgraduate Certificate: Working with Bereaved Adults

Help the Hospices is working with Sir Michael Sobell House, Oxford and St Christopher's Hospice to deliver this postgraduate course on working with bereaved adults. Validated by Middlesex University, it provides a critical study of the organisation and delivery of bereavement services for adults.
