We passionately believe that this course provides the academic theory and real life experience to allow leaders, from both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds, to flourish; equipping students with the academic tools and theory required to deliver cutting edge leadership that can be applied across a multitude of disciplines.
The course has been structured
to assist students in developing strategies and conducting research; forming
the basis for development and the succession of leaders in the hospice
movement.
We aim to:
-
produce well-educated
leaders who can serve the hospice movement at the highest
level
-
provide the academic underpinnings
required by leaders in these challenging times
-
shape a development
framework to inform future development and investment in leadership and
management development for the sector by Help the Hospices
The course is
aimed at people from clinical and non-clinical backgrounds who aspire to lead
hospices in the UK
and overseas. These include:
-
chief executives
-
senior managers
