Grants for bereavement workers

Help the Hospices managed a grant programme for bereavement support workers providing help to family members, young and old, in the hospice, and in the community.

 

Through the Bereavement Support programme, funded by the HBOS Foundation, Help the Hospices provided major grants to hospices to develop and extend their bereavement support services.

We also provided professional development grants to contribute towards the cost of hospice staff and volunteers attending bereavement courses or conferences.

Further funding

This programme is now closed. However, bereavement support workers can apply for a professional development grant.
