International grants programme

Help the Hospices international grants offers funding to hospice and palliative care organisations and health professionals in resource-poor countries.

Grants we offer

Funding is available to increase and improve the provision of palliative care in these countries. The grants are designed to help people working in palliative care to:

  • attend existing education and training programmes

  • develop new education and training programmes

  • develop specific palliative care projects.

Open grant programmes

Please see the main grants page for further information about which grant programmes are currently open for application. Others may be available during the course of the year, so it is worth checking our website for regular updates.

How it works

We receive funding for the grants we provide from other charitable trusts and foundations, so specific criteria apply each year. Each programme will have its own:

  • application form

  • criteria and guidelines

  • deadline date.
