St. James’s Place Foundation - Hospice Home Care: major grants

The Home Hospice Care grants programme aims to strengthen the provision of hospice care in people’s homes

We are looking to fund projects run by adult and children’s hospices that strengthen support, advice or training to provide care at home, so allowing people to stay at home for longer.

Funding for the programme is provided by the St. James’s Place Foundation, and Help the Hospices is managing the grants programme on its behalf.

Major grants

Grants of up to £40,000 are available for projects running over 12 to 18 months. This can be to implement work that either:

  • addresses the findings from feasibility study/scoping exercise
  • supports new, larger stand-alone projects demonstrating a clear evidence of need.

Available funding

Total available funding in this grant round is £140,000. We expect to make between three and four grants in this round.

Deadlines

The deadline for applications is 22 February 2012. Applicants will be informed about whether they have been successful by the end of March 2012.
