Widening Access through Nurse Leadership grant programme

Funded by the Burdett Trust for Nursing, this programme is to support innovative nurse-led projects which aim to develop and enhance the leadership abilities of the individual, as well as increase access to hospice and end of life care for people for whom access has previously been limited.

Two types of grants are available through this programme:

Seedcorn grants

Seedcorn grants are available in the first year only. Grants are available for activities which demonstrate the need for widening access interventions. For example, this could be work to map the population in a local area or consultations to determine how to make hospice care and services more accessible to all.
