Volunteering worldwide

If you are interested in volunteering to support hospice and palliative care services worldwide, we can help you find appropriate volunteering opportunities. 136 countries now offer or are developing palliative care services, and the need for support is greatest in resource-limited countries.

Many experienced palliative care workers and other health professionals have built lasting links with hospice and palliative care services throughout the world by sharing their skills and experience.

Volunteer placements are usually for a minimum of six weeks or three months and would normally involve assisting with teaching or developing services.
