Moving on, moving out: from children’s to adult palliative care services

This conference explored decision making in capable young people within the framework of the Mental Capacity Act. We also looked at how the End of Life Care Strategy relates to young people.

This was the first conference held by the national Transition Partnership, focussing on the challenges for young people with palliative care needs moving from children's to adult services.
