15 to 17 September The biggest UK Conference about catering for people in care and the community.
Nutritional Screening and Assessment in Palliative Care Survey (2009)
This survey, open from Thursday 19 November until Friday 19 December, aims to find out if Hospice inpatient and Day Hospice units are using Nutritional Screening or Nutritional Assessment tools with people who have palliative care needs.
Hartlepool and District Hospice receive Golden Apple 2009 award
30 November 2009 This award comes from the hospice's Local Authority, and acknowledges food providers who offer high quality, nutritious food.
Food and nutrition in palliative care: the way forward
12 February 2009 The Food and Nutrition Group's 2007 survey of hospices underlined the need for more teaching and training on nutrition. We have responded by organising this one day conference aimed at guiding attendees through current issues and aiding continuous improvement in this area. This course was repeated in July 2009.
