A summary of guidance for infection control in healthcare settings, specific to the current pandemic H1N1 influenza virus, has been published.

The document is an updated version of 'Pandemic influenza: guidance for infection control in hospitals and primary care settings', issued in 2007. The guidance has been written for the NHS, but the infection control principles can apply to other settings delivering healthcare.
