What is being done?
NCVO and Help the Hospices will perform a strategic analysis of external trends likely to impact on the hospice sector.
Based on this research NCVO and Help the Hospices will produce a final report designed to be accessible to all independent charitable hospices and hospice care professionals in England, regardless of their level of expertise in the area of strategic analysis.
Developing drivers
Key drivers are being developed and some of these are now on the NCVO Third Sector Foresight website. All stakeholders are encouraged to have a look and comment on the discussion boards.
Hospice Foresight events
Two events will be held in February to provide Help the Hospices members with the opportunity to discuss drivers in the external environment and their potential impact on independent hospices. The emphasis of the events, which are being supported and facilitated by Cass Business School, is upon information exchange with independent hospices.
