Influencing government policy

Help the Hospices works with our members to influence the development and implementation of government policy. We champion the voice of hospice care and advocate on behalf of people who are affected by terminal illness.

Current projects

We are working on a number of key policy areas, including: 

  • the End of Life Care Strategy, which sets out the government’s vision for end of life care services in England

  • The Compact with the Third Sector, which is the agreement between government and the voluntary sector on how they will work together.
